Joaquim A. Armero, 96, of Pembroke Pines, Florida died suddenly at his home on Saturday, December 24, 2011. Born in Cuba, son of Manuel and Ana E. (Alvarez) Armero. Before his retirement, Mr. Armero was a watchmaker. Survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Maria (Rodriguez) Armero, daughter, Mirta (John) Tomasko and his son, Joaquim "Jack" (Karin) Armero. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation on Tuesday, December 27th from 5:00 - 9:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Garden Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 28th at the funeral home at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens East.
