John Lewis was born January 7, 1948, in Monroe, Louisisana, the son of John Lewis and Mary Storey. He received degrees in Aviation Management from Embry- Riddle Aeronautical University. He was Chief Aviation Inspector for several aviation operations in Fort Lauderdale. He married Mary Lou Walden of Dania Beach, Fl, in 2005. Upon retirement, he enjoyed sailing around the Keys and Biscayne Bay. He is remembered by his family for his great sense of humor and positive outlook on life, despite recent setbacks in his health. Prior to his illness, he was an active parishioner of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Hollywood. Is survived by his wife, Mary, and his children John III (Mary) of Sebastion and MarLynne of Key West, and his brother in las Paul Walden of Alexandria, VA, in addition to a number if cats.
