Jonathan was born to Soris and Juan Garcia on December 25, 1991. He married Jessica Garcia on March 23, 2018 in Hollywood, FL.
Jonathan is preceded in death by his father Juan Garcia and brother Jason Garcia.
Jonathan is survived by his mother Soris, wife Jessica, his children Jayden and Jolee, his sisters Justine and Jeanette, and Grandmother Ana and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jonathan played softball and coached Bulldogs travel baseball with honor, and now he is hitting homeruns that soar beyond the fields, beyond the stands, and beyond the waiting hands of an eager crowd. They rise into the sky and are caught by his loved ones.
The heavens called to him, and in the fields beyond, vast and endless, he stands once more, glove in hand, waiting beneath an eternal sun. There, each ball struck by his hand finds its home in the hearts of his beloved kin. Each one a memory, a tribute, a promise that his spirit lives on through us.
Know that his game is eternal now, and every flight of the ball is a hymn of joy sung across our lives. In the end, no ballplayer ever truly leaves. He has been called up to the grandest league of all, where every home run flies with profound purpose and every base is traversed beyond the reaches of sorrow and pain.
His Celebration of Life Gathering will be held April 27, 2025 at 12pm at TY Park. Arrangements are by Fred Hunter Funeral Home.
