On Monday, May 10th, with his daughters Gia and Chris by his bedside at home, retired Miami Beach Police Sgt Joseph Brownlow (Joey B) passed away. Joey B worked for the police department for 30 years (1959-1989). Illustrious Sir Joseph H. Brownlow Jr, Potentate of Mahi Shriners in 2014, became a Mason in his early 20’s and dedicated his life to the needs of those served through the Shriners’ dedication. He married Cecelia Josephine Ferretti in 1963. With the two girls, Christina and Gia, the family dedicated their home and property in Southwest Ranches to horse training, animal rescue and rehabilitation, and natural habitat preservation.
