

Joe was born in Bronx, New York, to Grace and Louis Zito on September 24, 1960. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. He worked for PalmTran for the last 10 years.
Joe is preceded in death by his father, Louis Zito, and brother-in-law John Plattner.
Joe is survived by his mother, Grace Zito; wife, Monica Bezada-Zito; children, Amelia Grace Zito and Pedro Louis Zito; sister, Theresa Plattner; brothers- in-law, Pedro (Wendy) Bezada, Juan Pablo Bezada Sr., and Jose (Brittany) Bezada; nieces and nephews, William Plattner, Jan Franco (Katherine) Bezada, Laura (D’Stefano) Bezada-Vasquez, Christian Bezada, Isabella Bezada, Luna Bezada, Juan Pablo (Cynthia) Bezada Jr., Jordan Marr, Ezekiel Marr, Diamond Bezada, Aiyana Bezada, Jesus Bezada, Madison Bezada, Madeline Bezada, Zeus Bezada, Madisol Bezada, Maximus Bezada, Manuel Bezada, Anamelia Bezada, and JoseManuel Bezada; great nieces and nephews Fabrizio Bezada, D’Angelo Vasquez, J’aniya Bezada, J’lisa Bezada, and J’lianna Bezada and a host of extended family and friends.
Viewing services will be held Monday, April 29, 2024, between the hours of
6 pm to 10 pm at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home. Deacon Ramon will conduct a vigil service at 7:30 pm. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 11:30 am at St. Stephen Protomartyr Catholic Church. Immediate followed by burial at Fred Hunter’s Hollywood Memorial Gardens North.
We will continue to remember him as the great husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend he was, honoring the strong, fierce protector of his family and powerful fighter he has been. Joe’s loving impact will forever be present in our hearts.
