

She was born 02/07/1930 in Brooklyn, New York to Gennaro Appollonio (predeceased 1962) and Louisa (Guida) Appollonio (predeceased 1964) who she loved dearly. She had one brother Vincent Appollonio (predeceased 2013).
She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School and soon after married Arnold Gallo (predeceased 1994), they had three daughters.
Early in life she owned and operated a retail clothing store where she grew up on Ave X in Brooklyn, New York. Later in life she moved to Florida and lived in the Town of Surfside. While living in Surfside she worked as a town employee for the Recreation Department for 20 years. She was loved by all those who came to the Community Center.
After retiring she dedicated herself to taking care of her family, working tirelessly in the home. She loved the Italian traditions she grew up with she loved pasta. At 91 years old she was an amazing puzzle maker and loved selling from her booth at the local Flea Markets. She had two dogs during the retirement that meant the world to her, Ginger and Nena.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed tremendously by her three daughters, Theresa (Gallo) Schneider, Joanne (Gallo) Valentino (Jerry Valentino) and Louisa (Gallo) Weloff, and her four grandchildren Jason Valentino, Janelle Valentino, Ally Josephine Weloff and Nolan Weloff.
