

Joyce Marie Gardner Mullin "Joy" of Pembroke Pines, Florida (formerly of Elm, New Jersey) passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 16, 2017, after a lengthy illness in Memorial Hospital West. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Roger C. Bradshaw and Thomas E. Mullin; her son, Barry Bradshaw and beloved daughter, Bonita Sue Bradshaw; her grandson, Aaron Bradshaw; her son-in-laws, Robert Langbein and James Fox and daughter-in-law, Karen Merrifield.
Joyce was born in Louisville, Kentucky, one of eight children, and was lucky to travel the world with her husband Roger C. Bradshaw while in the U.S. Army prior to his demise in 1966. She married Thomas E. Mullin and moved to Florida in 1974 living in North Miami and then moved to Pembroke Pines. While in New Jersey, she worked at the former Latin Casino. In Florida, she opened a sub shop. She was very proud of her accomplishments. She was more proud of her eight children and is survived by Ronnie, Diane (Rick), Roger (Mel), Linda, Joseph and Larry; her grandchildren, Tammy (Anthony), Brian, Jessica, Kacey, Thomas, Jennifer, Christopher (Valine), Jimmy (Debi), Taylor, Matthew, Max and Gaby; her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Cecily, Logan, Makenzie, Walker, Savanna, Leroy, Gabbriella, James, Kalise, Nicholas, Hayden and Jasper.
Joyce is also survived by her brother, Jack (Marcine) and sisters, Dodie and Juanita "Sis" (Julius) all of Louisville and many nieces and nephews.
She was an avid reader of mysteries and loved to work in her gardens with her plants until her illness prevented it.
In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation in her memory to the Wounded Warriors, one of her favorite charities.
The family would like to send their special thanks to the Memorial Cancer Institute and its staff for all their kindness during her treatment and a special thanks to Sophia Coleman who helped so much with both Bonnie Sue and Joyce. You are a treasured friend.
