Judith M. Bizzigotti-Haddock, lovingly known as "Judy," passed away peacefully on September 30, 2026, in the comfort of her home, with her beloved husband of 49 years, retired Range Master Terry Haddock, holding her hand.
Judy was a devoted wife, loving mother, and remarkable woman whose kindness, compassion, and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. She is survived by her husband, Terry, their two daughters, Jodi and Melissa and two grandchildren, Sam and Nava Lior.
For more than 40 years, Judy dedicated her professional life to caring for others as a Doctor's Assistant. Her compassion and genuine concern for those around her extended far beyond her medical career. She had a special way of making people feel comfortable, valued, and cared for, often going out of her way to help anyone in need.
Judy also proudly served as a volunteer with the Hollywood Police Department for 15 years. During her time there, she assisted the Crime Scene Department by providing fingerprinting services to civilians and worked closely with the Public Affairs Department, helping with numerous Civilian Police Academies. Her dedication and outstanding volunteer service earned her the distinguished honor of being one of only six individuals recognized by Broward County as "Volunteer of the Year."
Throughout her medical and volunteer careers, Judy touched the lives of thousands of individuals. Her warm personality, generous spirit, and willingness to go above and beyond for others were qualities that truly defined her. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand, offer a kind word, or make someone's day a little brighter.
Above all, Judy's greatest joy was the life and family she shared with her husband, Terry. Their 49 years of marriage were filled with love, companionship, and countless cherished memories. She was not only his wife but also his best friend and lifelong partner.
Judy will be remembered not only for her many years of dedicated service to her community but also for the love she gave so freely, the kindness she showed without hesitation, and the difference she made in the lives of so many.
While her passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, her legacy of compassion, generosity, and service will live on through her family, friends, and the countless individuals whose lives she touched.
In the words of her loving husband, Terry:
"Judy, for 49 years, you were my wife, my partner, and my best friend. We shared a lifetime of memories, and I will forever be grateful for every moment we had together. Holding your hand as you peacefully left this world was one of the hardest moments of my life, but I am thankful I was there beside you, just as we had been beside one another for nearly five decades. Although I had to let go of your hand, I will never let go of the love we shared. You will always be a part of me. Until we meet again, my love."
