Judy Ann Vanek, 62, of Miramar, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.Funeral arrangements were handled by Fred Hunter Funeral Home on Thursday, February 25, 2021.Judy was born in Hollywood, Florida, on January 13, 1959. She graduated from McArthur High School in Pembroke Pines, Florida, and was a member of the McArthur High Drill Team.On December 15, 1990, she married the love of her life, Greg Vanek. They just recently celebrated their thirtieth anniversary. Judy’s and Greg’s two sons, Stephen and Brandon, were their pride and joy.Judy enjoyed cooking and trying out new recipes on her family and friends from the Food Channel.She is survived by her husband, Greg, and her two sons, Stephen and Brandon, her step-daughter Katie Turley (Sean), along with her mother, Shirley Reeves of Miramar; her brothers, James Reeves, Jr. (Wanda) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, David Reeves (Diane) of Miramar, Stephen Reeves (Lynel) of West Palm Beach, her sisters, Diane Welc (Frank) of Davie, Nancy Vela (Gus) of Miramar and Linda Siwek (Jimmy)of Miramar, and her grandchildren Sawyer and Sebestyen. Judy was loved by her many, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.Judy is preceded in death by her father, James D. Reeves.The family wish to thank all of her family and friends, who loved her dearly for the kind, caring, loving person she was and who will cherish all the wonderful memories from good times shared together.
