Julio Cesar Castillo, 77, of Davie, Florida passed away February 19, 2015. He was born January 26, 1938, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Julio came to the United States in 1952, settling in Brooklyn, New York. He moved to Davie, Florida in 1998. He was a loving dad, who loved to write music and taught himself to play different instruments, guitar, conga, tambora, harmonica, etc. He had a passion to live life to the fullest. He was a strong, confident, charismatic, and independent man who everyone who met him loved him. He loved to tell jokes and would never forget one. His heart was so big and loving that he would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. He was a friend/Dad to his daughter Demarie. They shared a special bond that only they understood as only a father and daughter could. He had a deep Barry White voice that we all knew and cherished. He loved gambling, horses and dog races too. He never had a headache or ever got sick until he was 74 years old. He was a very punctual person in all he did.
He made sure he was always with a full gas tank, new tires and clean windows. This is something embedded in me for always.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Adria Maria Castillo; children, Felix Jesus Garcia (Diane); Cesar Orlando Castillo (MaryJo) and Demarie Castillo (Rafael Angulo); grandkids Megan, Katelyn, Jesse, Sarah and Rebecca Angulo. Brothers, Manuel and Adolfo Castillo; Nieces, Maricela Ferran and great-niece, Diamonique Nieves Ferran.
He will forever live in our hearts and all the memories we shared are always with me.
Daddy until we meet again in heaven as I know you are there with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Love you always
Your daughter
Demarie Castillo
