Katherine S. Tullie

Katherine led an active and happy life that was full of accomplishments.  She was a giving and empathetic person who was always helping others. She was a shining beacon of love for the world.

Katherine graduated from South Broward High School in Hollywood, Florida and went on to obtain a Bachelor of Education Degree from Florida International University. After teaching preschool and elementary school in Florida and Northern California, she began her second career as a published Poet, Author, and Newspaper Columnist. She owned and published the popular Poetrystreet.com website and was the President of Poetry Street, Inc. She had thousands of followers on social media that read her poems every day.

Most of all Katherine was a kind and loving person that always considered others over herself. She is survived by her loving husband Richard (they were married 38 years) and survived her Brothers Edward Scrivani and John Scrivani and her Sister Susan Lerner. She loved and cherished them all.

Arrangements are by Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home in Hollywood, FL. There is a visitation and gathering at the Funeral Home on Wednesday November 30th at 12:00 pm followed by the burial at the Hollywood Memorial Gardens. Flowers are to be sent to Fred Hunters Funeral Home.
