Brown, Jr., Kenneth Ashley, age 64 of Davie, went to be with our Lord Thursday, March 24, 2011. Ken was born in Madisonville, Ky. on April 2, 1946 to Kenneth and Violet (Bond) Brown. Ken graduated from Key West High School and Florida Atlantic University. A dedicated number theorist, Ken was published in mathematical journals and served on international panels for math competitions. Ken taught higher mathematics at Nova High School, Broward College, and Nova University. He enjoyed collecting and restoring antiques, movies, woodworking, gardening, solving puzzles, ham radio, and fly fishing. He is survived by Betty, his wife of 38 years, son James (Mary), granddaughter Penelope, sister Susan (Jim) Davis, brother Jim (Linda) Brown, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place from 6-8 pm Monday, March 28 with services at 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 29 at Fred Hunter Funeral Home 6301 Taft St. Hollywood, Fl. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens.
