Kim Nelson

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm July 29, 2023 at Fred Hunter’s, 6301 Taft St., Hollywood, Fl. 33024. Danny Prada, Pastor of Heartway Church will be officiating. 

Visitation will be held at 12:00-2:00 pm July 29, 2023 at Fred Hunter’s funeral home on Taft St. Burial will follow the funeral at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 3:00-4:00 pm. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fred Hunter’s.

Kim Nelson was born in Miami, Florida on January 4, 1961. He graduated from McArthur High School and continued on to receive an Electronics Degree from Sheridan Technical College.

Kim was married to Deborah on March 26, 1988; they were married 35 years.

Kim owned his own company DC Solutions as he was an inventor, entrepreneur, and manufacturer for security access systems. He enjoyed exotic cars, physical fitness, science fiction, and all aspects of technology. He was also actively involved in several car clubs and events including “Toys for Tots”.

Kim is survived by his wife Deborah, his two sons Kyle and Kevin, and two granddaughters Charlotte and Haven. 

Kim is preceded in death by his father James Bob, mother Nancy Virginia, and brother James Kirk Nelson.
