Ko Fay Chan was born on July 12, 1989 in Brooklyn NY. He was the youngest of 4, Ko went on to become a Marine sergeant. After retiring from the Marine Corps he continued to school to follow his dream of becoming an underwater welder. After graduating he moved back to Miami FL where he worked as a security Guard at Aventura Hospital while he continued his search for his dream job. Ko finally landed an opportunity with an engineering company where he would become an underwater bridge inspector. I can honestly say that after that he didn't work another day, he loved what he did.
Ko was always a dedicated son, brother, uncle, boyfriend and friend. For him there was nothing more important than his family and friends. Always with a smile and a unique way of viewing life. Always thinking of doing on what was right.
On Thursday, February 12, 2016 Ko's life had an unexpected event. Although it seemed like the happiest day God decided to take him away. We fought with all we had and prayed for his life, but on February 15, 2016, his heart gave up.
We are so fortunate to have had Ko in our lives. So for now it will be until we meet again. R.I.P
