"Laura Jean Sherman passed away on Sunday, October 12...she was 43 years young. Her Father is Irwin and her Mother, Maria, is with her in Heaven. She was the youngest of her siblings - Ben, Sean, Derek, and Conrad.
Laura was born in New York City and grew up in Teaneck, NJ until the family moved to Miami, FL in the Summer of 1985. She then moved to Ft. Lauderdale in the early 90s til 2014. Looking for a fresh start, Laura packed up and moved to Haines City in Central Florida just few months ago.
She loved animals, nature, family and her many, many friends she's met since childhood. Her cats - Mia and Zacky were here prized possessions! An environmentalist and conservationist at heart - she wished she could save the world :)
A Celebration of Laura's life is on Sunday, October 26 at 2pm at Fred Hunters. All friends and family are welcome to attend and meet at 1pm before the service commences. A Wake will be following the service at her brother's home in Miami Beach...again, all who love Laura are invited to attend."
