Leonard Dominick (Lenny) Tinelli, age 72, of Hollywood, FL, passed away on Saturday March 16, 2019 at his residence. He was born January 16, 1947 in Bronx, NY to Leonard & Katherine (Kowatch) Tinelli. Lenny moved to South Florida in 1987 from New York. Leonard was employed with the City of Hollywood for 18 years. He spent much of his free time at LA Fitness, spending time with family, watching his grandson, Michael, play baseball; and was an active member of Nativity Catholic Church.
Survived by his son, Leonard Michael Tinelli (Crystal); grandson Michael Dominick Tinelli of Hollywood, FL; brother Frank Tinelli of Bronx, NY,;and former wife Adeline Roman Eligon; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Joseph.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 21st, at Fred Hunters Funeral Home at 6301 Taft St. Hollywood, FL 33024 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm with a prayer service at 8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 22nd, at 10:00am at Nativity Catholic Church 5220 Johnson St. Hollywood, FL 33021, with burial to follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens East.
