

Livia was born in Torak, Yugoslavia on August 28, 1927 to Vioara Blaj and Pavel “Goldie” Subu. She was married to Aurel Zurz for more than 65 years before his death in 2012.
Livia worked as a seamstress in Argentina and later in Brooklyn, New York. She continued this work along with cleaning homes once she moved to live permanently in Hollywood, FL. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was also actively involved at the Holy Cross Romanian Orthodox Church, preparing for meals and events.
Livia is survived by her only son, Lavinel Zurz, her grandchildren, Jason & Melissa, and other family and friends.
Livia is preceded in death by her husband, Aurel Zurz, in 2012.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 1:30pm at Fred Hunter’s. Due to the current pandemic crisis, attendance to the funeral service for Livia will be limited to immediate family and by invitation only. There will be a livestream available at the link below to attend the funeral service virtually.
