My condolences to the family. I pray you find comfort in knowing that even though we may loose a loved one in death, God will bring back to life all those found in his memory. (Job 14:15 John 5:28, 29 Acts 24:15) Yes, we have the hope of seeing our loved ones again, and the life to be enjoyed when this takes place will be truly wonderful. (Revelation 21:3, 4)

Lori was always a light in the darkness and was such a sweet and loving person. She brought a sense of peace and calm to those she encountered.

I went to school with Lori from Fairway all the way through MHS, and she was one of the kindest, sweetest souls I've ever known. We had some great times in band together, and my wife cheered with her for the basketball team. Her passing reminds us how fragile and precious life is. Words can't adequately express how sorry we are, but at least she is free from pain and resting in the arms of the Lord now. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Lori and I went to school together from Fairway Elementary until Miramar High. There are so many memories in class and school trip. Lori was a kind and gentle person with a heart of gold. God bless Lori, her son, family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I went to school with Lori and although we were not close, we did spend years together with some of the same friends and going on school trips together. I am learning that those friends you make as a child are kind of like family. Growing up in the same place with a lot of similar memories. I offer my thoughts and prayers to her son, mom and all her family and friends knowing that she will be missed. Rest in peace. You are with the Angels now.

I remember Lori from middle school and high school. She had such a sweetness about her. I remember her cheering for our team, and that big beautiful smile she had when she finished a cheer. She had a shy why about her that was very endearing to me. It was very sad to hear of her health issues and of her passing. I'm so glad that some of Lori's best friends could be there for her in the end. And of course to help her mother and son through this difficult time. God Bless You Lori and may God shower you in his eternal light forever. Until we meet again someday, smile that beautiful smile of yours........

Lori and i shared many memories together from our teenage years. As her HS boyfriend we discovered together how to love one another. Although we really didn't know it's true meaning at the time we realized how strong our connection was when we reconnected a few years ago. May god bless her soul and take care of her  son as well as her family. Rest in peace.Until we meet again, you will forever live in my heart

As I get older and more spiritual and I reflect on how Lori and my pathways crossed in life you can see the handiwork of God....Anthony was God's gift to Lori... my memories with Lori will always be a life event that I look back upon and remember with grace and fondness...until we meet again my friend.....

So many great band memories of Lori. Sadly because we moved out of state I only saw Lori once after High School. Unfortunately, she was not feeling well during that visit but she was the happiest person in the room! She was the one making the rest of us laugh! Happy that we were able to reconnect on Facebook if only for a year or two. Will always remember her smile. Thoughts and prayers go out to her family and everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.

As her middle school band director, I have many fond memories of Lori. She was a very sweet, kind girl with a wonderful smile. It is so heartwarming to see the love for Lori and friendships that still exist that were developed all those years ago. Lori was blessed to have so many good friends. What a pleasure it was to have taught her. Prayers going out to Lori's family, especially her son.

Followed Lori to USF with our small Miramar High group! She was the best to anyone she met! Great memories from those years. The Scozzaro Family sends thoughts and prayers to all who knew Lori, especially her Family.

My sincerest condolences to the Modaffari family. Trials such as this one can be unbearable, "God is for us a refuge and strength, a help that is readily to be found during distress." Psalms 46:1 He will give you the needed strength to endure the days ahead.

One of my dearest friends for many years. One of my best friends from 2nd through 6th grade, while living in Florida. God bless you, Lori, your son, and the rest of your family. I will always love you, friend.

I use to baby sit her as she would fall a sleep in my arms. So young...So beautiful.....now I AM 66.

To Lori's friends and family, so sorry for your loss, though Lori is and will continue to be remembered for her kind, sweet, and beautiful manner. As the comforting words of 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 motivate us to look for God, "the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort,Â who comforts us in all our trials" I hope you also find hope in His words and His promise that one day "there is going to be a resurrection" (Acts 24:15). May memories, prayer, and such promises keep bringing you comfort.

May perpetual light shine upon her free of the pain of this world. Blessings and peace to her family, may God grant that their grief be bearable and their memories provide comfort.

My favorite memory of Lori is studying with her while we were at Broward Community College together. She was smart, dedicated and had a great sense of humor. I know she will be greatly missed. May she ever rest in peace.
