Born in New York, New York on November 4, 1950, daughter of Paul and Marie-Lucie (DePercin) Thenard. She had an older sister, Clemire, and a younger brother, Paul. Lorraine grew up living in New York city.
Survived by her beloved husband, Daniel Hicks, daughter, Raquelle Thenard, son, Archie Williams, and brother, Paul Thenard. Also survived by her adored three grandchildren, Sheherazade, Janelle and Giselle Lillie.
Rather than mourn her death, Lorraine would have wanted her family and friends to celebrate her life. She always felt blessed to have enjoyed so many experiences with all those she loved. Please remember those times with happiness and smiles.
The family will greet friends on Monday, October 16th from 1:00 ~ 2:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters University Drive Home, 2401 South University Drive, Davie with a Memorial Service commencing at 2:00 P.M. A reception will follow at the Fred Hunter Community Center. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
