Ms. Louise Elaine Loftman

Louise Loftman was born in New York City to James and Emily Holder on June 18, 1928. She went to school in Jamaica, West Indies. She married Seymour Loftman in her early 20’s in place of marriage. She graduated from New York City Community College and received her Associate Degree in applied science June 1971. She worked as a Customs Agent for Unites States Treasury Department for 14 years. She was involved in Sunday School Teacher, Lady Guilds. She received many awards and honors from school, work and church.

Louise is preceded in death by Gloria, Leroy, Ruby, James, and Paula.

Louise is survived by Patricia and Pamela (children), Shenequa, Jamal, Maija, Marika, and Jayvon (grandchildren) Amar, Naija, Marquis, Jafar, Kingston, Sophia, Jameson, and Jaxson (great grandchildren) Zaria (great Grandchild)

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 10am viewing, 11am Service, immediately after Burial Ground and the Repast immediately following Church, Saturday July 11, 2026, at Episcopal Church of the Epiphany. Arrangements are by Fred Hunter.
