Lucilda Albertha Kervin took her flight to Glory on March 14, 2025
Lucilda Albertha born in St. Andrew Essex Hall Content in Jamaica West Indies, she was the baby girl for her mom and dad. Mom worked has a cigar maker at the Palomino Cigar Company in Kingston Jamaica, she weaved baskets and hats with her siblings. She left Jamaica and migrated to the United States of America in the early sixties, until she retired and relocate to Miramar Florida.
Ms. Lucilda Kervin was a strong, independent, determined and hard working woman, she has left a legacy of wealthy information on the family, friends and many others who she came in contact with. She has touched many lives with her laughter, encouragement and dancing. She sacrificed a great deal to achieve her goals in life. She loves to talk has long has she have one's attention, she was very smart in what she does. She also demonstrated to all who encounter with her how to use the Bible in navigating and seeking God on making sound decisions. She would download and apply the answers that she received from the Lord to her life.
She love the Lord and even through her difficult time during her end of life, she hold up her hands unto the Lord and praise Him in the best way that she possibly could. She was a praying and worshipping woman, she was an inspiration to all.
Ms. Lucilda left behind 5 adult children (Ronald Johnson/ spouse Joann Johnson. Dorna Johnson-Spooner/ spouse: Minister Spooner, Marlene Clarke-McCoy, Mark Kervin/ spouse: Ruth Kervin and Doslin Kervin). She has 19 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 6 great great, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends.
To mother: John 14:2 – “In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”
Mom we will miss your laughter, dancing, encouraging words, calling our names, but we know that God prepared that beautiful mansion for you and you are looking down at us, watching over us and still praying to Him for us. Mom we thank God for giving you 96 years of life, you will be missed, but not forgotten. We love you mom, rest well until we meet again.
