Magdalena Callejas

Born in Santiago De Cuba, Cuba on October 28, 1923, daughter of Alfonso and Manuela Cecilia (Sarruff) Rambla. She migrated to the United States in 1971 settling in Union City, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, and Florida. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Survived by her two loving daughters, Maria Tauler and her husband Rene Tauler, Sofia M. Callejas joined with Antonio Caballero Jr., five adored grandchildren, Vanessa Tauler-Lopez and her husband, Richard Lopez, Wendy Cummings and her husband, Taiwo Cummings, Kimberly Tauler-Caballero and her husband Antonio Caballero III, Richard Reboredo and his wife Andrea Reboredo and Marilyn Mulet and 9 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 70 years, Jose L. Callejas in 2012.

Visitation on Sunday, January 24th from 6:00 ~ 8:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street in Hollywood. A Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, January 25th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Maximillian Kolbe Catholic Church, 701 North Hiatus Road, Pembroke Pines, FL. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
