

Born in Mount Vernon, New York on November 16, 1933, daughter of Samuel and Angelina (Capobianco) Battaglia. Raised and educated in Yonkers, New York, Mrs. Blasucci moved to Miami, Florida in 1957 and then to Cooper City where she lived for the past 28 years. She was a homemaker, loved her family and adored her 8 grandchildren. She was looking forward to the birth of her first great grandson this coming July.
Survived by her five loving children, Marlene (Yianni) Apostolopoulos, Victor (Madonna) Blasucci, Maria Blasucci, Domenick (Georgina) Blasucci and Gloria Blasucci, twin brother, Rocco Battaglia, 8 adored grandchildren, Katerina (Bernardo) Vellon, Christos Apostolopoulos, Vittoria Blasucci, Madelena Blasucci, Caneel Radinson-Blasucci, Christine Blasucci, Domenick Blasucci and Michael R. Lasanta. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Domenick Blasucci in 1980, son, Michael Blasucci in 2009 and granddaughter, Irene Apostolopoulos in 1988.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 28th at 10:30 A.M. at St. David Catholic Church, 3900 South University Drive, Davie. A reception will follow outside in the gazebo. Relatives and Friends are kindly invited to attend. A private burial service will be held at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visiting hours have been omitted.
