Margaret (Betty) S. Van Orden Salvog, 97 years old, was called home by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 26, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles (Kie) Van Orden, and her second husband, Burton V. Salvog.
She is survived by many loving family members and friends who cherished her deeply. Known as Betty, Margaret, Aunt Betty, and Grandma Betty, she was a devoted woman of faith with a true servant’s heart. Her quick wit and clever spirit brought joy to every conversation. Always ready to listen, she offered comfort, wisdom, and the love of God to all. Her warmth, guidance, and unwavering kindness will be dearly missed but forever remembered.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan’s Purse/Operation Christmas Child. That program was very dear to her heart.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, February 15, at 11:00 am in the Village Center at Covenant Living of Florida. 9215 W Broward Blvd., Plantation, FL 33324.
