Born in Asturias, Spain on September 13, 1930, daughter of Benito Marcos Abad and Fermina Jardon Ibias. Raised and educated in Spain, Maria and her husband migrated to the United States on February 14, 1968. They settled in Union City, New Jersey where they lived for many years before moving to South Florida in 1988, first to Hialeah Gardens and in 1994 to Hollywood.
Survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Carlos Modesto Espinosa, two loving daughters, Clarivel and Lucia Espinosa, cherished grandchildren, Miranda Caitlin Killian, Serena Haley Killian and John Carlos Killian. Also survived by her sister, Celia Marcos and former son-in-law, John Joseph Killian. She was preceded in death by two sons, Carlos and Ray Espinosa.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 2nd at 11:00 A.M. at Nativity Catholic Church, 5200 Johnson Street, Hollywood, FL. 33021. Entombment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visiting hours have been omitted.
