Maria Noemi Soto Leal

Noemi was born Maracaibo, Venezuela to Lucinda Altuve Leal y Mario Leal on November 22, 1931.  She went to school at Maracaibo, Venezuela.  She married Jose Leonardo Soto Celis on September 9, 1959, in Maracaibo Venezuela. She graduated from Universidad de Zulia.  She worked as a School Teacher in Venezuela for over 15 years.  

Noemi Soto is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Soto, Lucinda Leal, Mario Leal, parents. Her siblings Marina Yanez, Mario Leal, Hilda Leal Jairo Leal and Elizabeth Leal.  

Noemi is survived by four children – Hilda Soto, Victoria Soto, Miriam Soto & George Soto. She’s also survived by her sister Doris Leal. Her grandchildren, Reyner Soto, Barbara Nobrega, Gaby Soto, George Nobrega, Danny Valecillos & Victor Soto. Giovani Soto great grandchild. Her sons-in-law – Francois Domond, Eusebio Nobrega and Dino Valecillos. Her daughter-in-law – Monica Soto. 

Please join us to celebrate her life at Fred Hunters Funeral Home Friday August 11, 2023 starting at 5:00 PM, the service will also be streamed LIVE through a Zoom. 

The family of Noemi Soto wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Jurkovich, Vitas Team in particular Regina Porter, Vitas team Manager Lastly, the family would also like to extend thanks to the team of home caregivers- Tamara, Angela, Tatiana, Laritza, Sara, Elvia, Gisela & Isabelita. The love they shared while caring for mom was remarkable.
