Marsha Lutz

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents Martha and Jim Frickie, and sister Paula. She is survived by her nephew Edward Mandavia, sister Terri (Frank) Matkovic of Jacksonville

Beach, niece Sandra (Jeremy) Elmore, great nephews Chris and Austin; great nieces Ashley, Stephanie and Vanessa along with several great, great nieces and nephews and cousins in

Michigan, Ohio, Georgia, Tennessee, and North Florida.

Marsha, born in Dayton, Ohio July 7, 1947, moved to Hollywood, FL with her parents in 1959 at the age of 12. She graduated from McArthur High School in 1965. She then moved around to California, New Mexico, Connecticut and Cleveland, Ohio for 12 years, before returning to her parent’s home in Hollywood, FL.

In 1978, her nephew Edward Mandavia was born and he quickly became the apple of her eye. They would form a strong bond that could never be broken. She loved him like a son and was always so proud of him.

Every year, she looked forward to traveling with her family to Dayton, Ohio for summer vacation, where there was plenty of love, good food, and laughter.

For several years, Marsha worked at the beautiful Kapok Tree Restaurant in Davie, FL, where she made many life-long friends, Randy, Gloria, Michelle, Annette, Mardel, Missy, Janice, Tim, Steven, Kurt, Mike Waring, Michael and Louise Hackney, Mike Cropper, to

name a few. She later worked for Cliff Berry, Inc, where she retired after 21 years there. She became good friends with Suzanne, Barbara, Illiana, Raquel, Heather, Chris, Mutoo, and

many others.

She had a passion for sports, especially the Miami Dolphins, Miami Hurricanes and Ohio State, and loved attending home games with her friends. Marsha never met a stranger, and her endearing humor, genuine kindness and love for family, friends and animals, was

infectious and everyone who knew her, loved her.

She was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, niece and cousin. Her friends and entire family adored her and will miss her terribly. But, we know that when she left this earth, she went straight into the arms of Jesus, where her family that went on before her were anxiously waiting her arrival.

We all love you, will miss you, and will see you again one day, our beloved Marsha.

Private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
