She was born in Govan, Scotland on December 7, 1913, daughter of Frederick and Martha (Reid) Guilbert. At the age of 6, Martha and her family moved to Revere Beach, Massachusetts where she was raised and educated. She was a retired Nurse Assistant.
A resident of Florida since 1950, Martha loved to pass the time by Crocheting. She would crochet an average of at least one afghan a week, right up until her passing. She donated these to friends, hospitals and hospice facilities.
Survived by her daughter, Carole (Charles) Littlefield, two sons, Charlie (Margaret) Weatherbee and Fred Weatherbee, four grandchildren, Colleen and Wayne Weatherbee, Alan (Maria) Littlefield and Suzanne (Mark) Billow. She was blessed with six great grandchildren and was about to become a great great grandmother.
Visitation on Tuesday, August 12th from 6:00 ~ 8:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters University Memorial Home, 2401 South University Dr; Davie. Funeral on Wednesday, August 13th at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial at Southern Memorial Park
