

Mary Ella Allender, 87, passed away on February 8, 2026 in Miramar, Florida.
Mary was born in North Miami, Florida to Rodney and Nellie Lee Little on September 1, 1938. She graduated from North Miami High School, then attended Florida State University. Mary spent most of her career working as an assistant principle at Pembroke Christian Academy. She was very involved with her church and women’s groups. After retiring, Mary devoted herself to her family. Her greatest joy came from time spent with her children and grandchildren whom she loved and cherished every moment with.
After bravely fighting the good fight and keeping the faith, she entered into eternal rest with her Lord (2 Timothy 4:7).
Mary is preceded in death by her parents Rodney and Nellie Little, her sister Betty Diecidue, her brother Vernal Ray Little, her grandson Jason Allender and nephews Joey Diecidue and Bobby Little.
Mary is survived by her children Rodney Allender (Kendra Allender), Linda Southall (Jeffery Southall), Kimberly Allender, Debra Starr (Brett Starr); grandchildren, Lauren, Leanne, Austin, Brooks, Amber and Alexa; great-grandchildren, Connor, Kaylee, Olivia, James, Amelia and Addison. She is also survived by her nieces Lori, Kelly and nephew David.
Committal Service will be at 12:30pm on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Caballero Rivero Dade North, 1301 Opa-Locka Blvd., Miami, Florida.
