

Mary Ann (DiPreta) Wojciechowski, 76, of Plantation, passed away peacefully in the evening of March 12, 2021 in Sunrise. Mary Ann was born in Queens, New York to Anthony DiPreta and Fay (Vitti) DiPreta on August 28, 1944. She married Leo H. Wojciechowski Jr. on September 11, 1965 inCommack, New York. For many years, Mary Ann owned and operated her own Ceramics studio (T& J Studio) while living in Port Jefferson, New York. In 1976, she moved from New York to Sunrise, Florida with her family and started working for American Express as a Customer Service Representative for over 30 years. Mary Ann was involved with All Saints Catholic Church where she co-directed the annual talent show. She also volunteered for the church carnival every spring. Mary Ann was also involved with the Quota Club of Plantation for many years and received woman of the year from the non-profit organization due to her hard workand dedication to complete service projects such as the annual fashion show that supported women who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing as well as disadvantaged women and children. Mary Ann was a dedicated and supportive “dance mom” to her 2 daughters through the years as well as a devoted “Nana” to her 5 grandchildren. She often attended their extra-curricular activities as well as hosting afternoon tea parties, playing cards,and schooling them in Nok Hockey games. She spent countless hours in the kitchen baking cookies and making Rice Krispy Treats. Like Nana always said, “Everything’s Better with Butter”. Some of her hobbies includedceramics, jewelry making, and floral arranging. She also enjoyed taking American Sign Language classes in her free time.
Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony DiPreta, Fay (Vitti) DiPreta, her husband Leo H. Wojciechowski Jr, and her brother John B. DiPreta. Mary Ann is survived by her 2 daughters Theresa Binder (Tom) of Davie, FL and Jennifer Matthews (Chris) of Bordentown, NJ and her five grandchildren, Delaney, Zachary, Brennan, Tiffany, and Bradley, along with her sister-in-law Helen DiPreta, nieces, a nephew and many great nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, all services being held will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The American Heart Association and The American Diabetes Association
