Mary Sue (Lydon) McCord, 73, of Palm City, Florida (formerly of Pembroke Pines, Florida) passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Treasure Coast Hospice. Mary Sue (Lydon) McCord was born on May 1, 1942 in Washington, D.C., daughter of Nicholas and Alice Lydon. She was a retired nurse. She is preceded in death by her husband, George R. McCord, Sr., and her sister Linda Madigan. She is survived by her beloved children, George (Diana) McCord, Jr., of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Kevin (Tiffany) McCord of Naples, FL; and Theresa McCord (Gregory) Hampton of Palm City, FL, 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Fred Hunter Hollywood Funeral Home 6301 Taft Street Hollywood, Florida 33024 from 10:30am - 11:30am. Graveside services will be held at 11:45am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please make donations in her name to Treasure Coast Hospice.
