Mary Joan Williams was born July 23, 1932 in Falls, PA. She passed away on February 17, 2010 in Davie, FL at the age of 77 years. Joan was the beloved only child of John and Mary Ward. Joan married Roger Williams on April 25, 1959 in Hollywood, FL. They lived in various stateside locations during Rogers twenty years in the United States Air Force, choosing to raise their family and retire in San Antonio, TX. Joan is predeceased by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her four sons; Brian Williams of San Antonio, TX, John (Ellie) Williams of Davie, FL, Terry (Dawn) Williams of Chesapeake, VA, and Roger (Lily) Williams of San Antonio, TX. Joan will be fondly remembered by eight grandchildren; Megan, Steven, Mitchell, Kayla, David, Benjamin, Katelyn, and Ashley. She also leaves behind one great-grandchild, Celina. A rosary will be held at 6:00pm on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at The Angelus Funeral Home in San Antonio, TX. Joan will be laid to rest after a graveside service at San Fernando Cemetery #2 in San Antonio, TX.
