Mary Ann was many things to me. She was a Mother, a Mentor, and a Savior. So many years ago, it was Her who had the courage to crawl into the dark filthy places I had allowed myself to fall into. It was her who went door -to-door with the dog looking for me, threatening drug dealers to give back your SON, or else! It worked, and I have spent a good part of my life trying to be worthy of such effort to save me from myself. A good part of all that I have accomplished, all that I have worked towards, has been to make this magnificent woman proud of me, to earn the love so freely given. I can only thank the Lord for having seen fit to privilege and honor me with Her presence in my Life, even as it is greatly diminished with out her here with me.

I have many memories of MaryAnn, but my favorite would be her participation in my super-secret proposal plan. She assisted my better-half in pulling off my surprise proposal in numerous ways. Since it was a surprise, I repeatedly threw a wrench in the works, not knowing what was planned for me. But, MaryAnn was integral in making certain Ken McCarron got me to the Market Place in Key West, Florida, at sundown, without enraging too many people, as he body-blocked and nearly tossed to the side, with me in tow, all in the effort to make it to what he envisioned as the perfect spot for his proposal. (MaryAnn skillfully calmed the people that Ken bull-rushed in his effort to get to *THE PERFECT SPOT*. Her advise, love, assistance and so much more has contributed to who I am today. I will take her with me, in my heart, always. Until later, Mar. We love you.

We are so sorry for the loss of your dear one and our heartfelt sympathy to the family. God promises that "those in the memorial tombs will hear Jesus' voice and come out" John 5:28. May you find peace and comfort in God's loving words to us.

I'm sorry for your loss, I to know what it feels to loss a loved one to death. For many death seems to be a part of life. It's during times such as these that we can find comfort in the Bible. Psalms 34:18 assures us that God is near to those broken in heart and those crushed in spirit he saves. He also promises that we will be able to see our loved ones again. "There is going to be a resurrection"-Acts 24:15. Also, Revelation 21:4 gives us great hope of seeing our loved ones again: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. John 5: 28, 29, Acts 24: 15, are also text with hope that someday we can see our loved ones again. We need not fear anymore for God has promise in Isaiah 25:8 that he will swallow up death forever" what great joy to be able to live forever without the fear of losing our loved ones again. We all hope for that.

Had so many memories of our many trips to South Port Raw Bar, our trip to the Bahamas, trips to the flea market and the many times Jody and I took her out of her comfort zone and went exploring. To many to write about. She is loved by so many and will be missed.
