Maudine is survived by her husband of 43 years, Gerald; daughters, Jane Morris and Carol Welbourn; son, Joseph James Richards; grandchildren, Ray Morris, Robert Morris, Dwayne Richards, Peter Welbourn, Andrew Welbourn and Melissa Richards; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Shane, Lilly and Levi; brothers, LeRoy Crider, C.L. Crider (Barbara) and Jimmy Tumblin; sisters, Shirley Bricklemyer (Don) and Irene Gossett (Phil); sister-in-law, Virginia Frazer; brother-in-law, Richard Hayden (Elana); many nieces and nephews, including Maudine's namesake, Maudine Parker; cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by a son, Roy Fulton Richards and brother, Verlon Crider.
There will be a gathering of family and friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Maudine's Life at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, at Fred Hunter's Downtown Ft. Lauderdale Funeral Home; 718 S. Federal Hwy.; Ft. Lauderdale.
