Maurice served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict from 1951 to 1955. After his discharge, he moved to Miramar where he spent a lifetime in customer service in the food industry. At one time, Maurice was the owner of a meat market. He was with Delaware Chicken in Hollywood when he retired.
Maurice enjoyed time together with family and friends, especially attending festivals and other events with his devoted wife.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Evelyn Beatrice Gadbois; daughters, Debra Lee Goebel (Malcom), Donna Lynn Dees (Donald) and Doreen Linda Gadbois; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2013, at Hollywood Memorial Gardens North; 3001 N. 72nd Avenue in Hollywood. Military Graveside Honors will be rendered by the U.S. Air Force.
