Mavis May (Brown) Christie passed away in Hollywood, Florida. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Meade and husband, Angel Meade; son, Raul Donalds; grandchildren, Diana Rodriguez and Angel Meade, Jr.; great-grandson, Alexander Rodriguez-Meade-Gerrie; brothers, Charles Brown and Alfredo Brown and sisters, Violet Brown and Beatrice Brown. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Ann Brown; her father, Charles Brown and brother, Henry Brown.
Visitation is 12:00 - 2:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Gardens Home, 6301 Taft Street in Hollywood. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Hollywood Memorial Gardens North.
