Melissa Rae Scanlon returned to our Creator to join her brother Stephen (2021) on or before 5/21/2023. She was born in Miami, FL on January 27, 1987 to join Monica and Brian Scanlon and her siblings Rachel Bordallo, Christopher Scanlon and Stephen Scanlon. Two years later her sister Cynthia Scanlon would join her to share in their many adventures together.
Melissa grew up as a sensitive soul, for all of nature, animals, the earth and had a great respect for all life. Her child was her cat, Vishnu, a huge long-haired snuggly tabby.
Even in the face of challenges in her life, Melissa was a determined individual who earned two simultaneous bachelor’s degrees and held various jobs, including a spiritual wellness coach, DJ, and mortgage broker, to live her independent lifestyle. But whatever she chose to do at the time, she was focused and put in all her effort.
Cherished loved ones celebrating her memory include her Abuelo and Abuela, tíos, aunts, uncles, primos/cousins, nieces and nephew.

My wounds into wisdom.”
