Michael P. "my'Kee" Blake, 59, of Davie passed away unexpectedly on May 1, 2016. Born September 7, 1956 in Bronx, New York, Mike moved to south Florida in the early 1970's and graduated from North Miami Senior High School in 1974.
Mike worked as a property manager for Waypoint Homes. He also worked in ring set-up in the local wrestling community. But my'Kee's true passion was Rock and Roll. Many knew him as the drummer for "Odd One Out" and for "MIA."
Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Tracy; daughters, Heather Blake (Jordan Prine) and Beth Weir; sons, Christopher and Paul Weir; grandchildren, Apollo and Stella Crawford; sister, Arlene Voytek (Charles) and dearest friends, Celeste and Cliff Warren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gustav and Sadie Blake and sister, Lorraine "Cookie" Blake.
There will be a celebration of Mike's life at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Fred Hunter's University Drive Home, 2401 S. University Drive in Davie.
