Mike was born in Jamestown, New York on August 7, 1954. He attended Southwestern High School.
Mike was married to Susan Marie Lawson, they moved to Florida in 1994 and have been married 35 years.
Mike worked as a Supervisor in the shipping and receiving department with Orbit Communications for the last 8 years.
Mike was adopted by his grandparents Edward and Faith Lawson when he was a young boy.
Mike was a NASCAR fan and football fan. He loved to collect NASCAR memorabilia.
Mike is survived by his wife Susan Lawson, his brother Patrick Lawson, his sister Pam Bowen, and other family and friends.
Mike is preceded in death by his biological parents Maybelle and Gordy Carlson and his brother Stephen Carlson.
Mike never liked being the center of attention, he was a private person and per his wishes there will be no services.
