Michael Minichello

The funeral mass will be held at 10 am on Monday, October 1st. Rev. Robert M. Ayala of St. Matthew's Church, 542 Blue Heron Drive, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009 will be officiating.

Michael (Mike) was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 2, 1944. He graduated from St. John's High School and went on to study at St. John's University.

Mike was married to Teresa on July 24, 1983; they were married 35 years.

Mike worked as a law enforcement officer for the New York City Police Department for 25 years before he retired. He then worked as security/manager of "Roll 'n Roaster", a popular restaurant in Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn. He and Teresa loved dancing together and Mike had a passion for automobiles and enjoyed all types of sports.

Mike is survived by his wife, Teresa and his brother Rev. Arthur G. Minichello, and so many wonderful family and friends.

Mike is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred (Dolly) and his father, Mike.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

The family of Michael Minichello wishes to thank Luis Echarte, M.D., the lung transplant team of Florida Hospital of Orlando and the Bartch Transplant House for their devoted care for Michael and all their patients.
