So Pookie, cant believe that this is something I am having to do. Our friendship was a product of a bad relationship that i was in over 30 years ago; our friendship was the best thing to come out of it. We were thick as thieves and always together, even with us salsa dancing at Bayside and me naming my little brother after you. As Tina called me that morning and let me know what was going on I have been flooded with memories of our good times together. You had an infectious personality and everyone loved you, you really were part of my family. As the saying goes you dont have to be blood to be family and that was so true for us. You will always be my best friend, I will always love and remember you and we will always be here for Tina and your girls, so dont worry about them. Rest easy my brother, Pookie Mike... Love you eternally, until we meet again.
