As I sit to my desk at work today, I know within my heart that you have passed and God have the last say, but cuz, I really miss you. I do. May your sweet soul continue to rest in peace.

My heart remains heavy four months after losing my baby, I am not sure what tomorrow will bring I just know I will never her soft beautiful voice again. I will never see that bright and brilliant smile on her face again and that face that beautiful face. I get pleasure in knowing that our last words to one another was "I love you"!! Oh Baby this momma misses you dearly. Sleep on take your rest God always knows what is best. Sleep in peace!!

You guys aren't going to believe this. So I am on my way to work...when something was telling me to see my friend @Monique Browdy's grave site (killed by her husband while pregnant). Somthing was litterally urging me to go. I had no idea where she was buried exactly, but I knew she was at a Fred Hunter Memorial site. So when I arrived at the grave yard, I was lost and started driving around looking for someone to help me find her. So I parked on the corner. I saw a grave digger and asked him if he knew where Monique Hanna was buried.He said "...you see that black car?"I said "yes thats my car."He said "...well, you parked right on your Monique"Keep in mind I wasn't planning to see her that day...nor did I know where she was resting. All I know is that I had the sudden urge to visit her and that I unknowingly parked right on her. It was as if she was asking telling me to visit and directing me where to go. First day at Miramar high school, she directed me to find my first class room. The way we met as the way we said goodbye. How crazy. But then again, Monique was always bossing me around...#ilovemoniquehanna

I'm so sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest sympathy. May you find comfort from your memories, as well as God's word the Bible. Why do people we love die? Romans 5:12 says: "That is why, just as through one man (Adam) sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned." How loving of God to promise what is found at Revelation 21:4 which says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away.

Our family got to know Monique while she was still in high school. We grew to love her as a daughter. She was so kind and with a vibrant spirit that infected all she met. And, oh that smile... Jesus promised that those exercising faith in him, though they should die, would have the opportunity to live again. He said he was the resurrection and the life... That is our hope ... If we remain faithful we have the hope that we can see her again... Death, mourning, and outcry will be no more... The former things will have passed away... Our hearts are heavy because we loved you so much...

Oh my sweet Mo, I miss you so much. Thank you for always checking up on me/us, for treating me like a sister, for always celebrating my birthdays and for always being there when every I needed you/friend. Monique played such a significant role in my life. She was my very best friend. I have so many fond memories of us together. I often think back on our days back in high school when she would come over after school and we would dance in the mirror. As silly as it was, we both loved it and called it exercise. After we graduated high school, we remained very close despite going to different colleges. I can't remember any important event in my life (big or small) that didn't include Monique. She was such a beautiful person inside and out and being around her always made me happy. Whether we were working out, dining out, or shopping, it was always a good time. Monique loved with all of her heart and I learned so many great things from her. Saying fair well is not easy, but I am so grateful to have had such a great friend like Monique and the impact she's had on my life. I will cherish our friendship forever. I am definitely going to miss spending time with her, her radiant smile that always brightened up a room, her great sense of humor, positive attitude, laughter and comforting hugs. I will miss the one person who would go anywhere with me so I wouldn't have to go alone. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. I love you Monique, aka sis. I will keep you close to my heart forever.

Monique I feel I just saw you at our girls night get together. You walked in and we greeted each other with a smile and a hug as always, we complimented/admired each others outfit and nails but that night we were drawn to each others handbags and wanted to trade lol. You ended up sitting next to me the whole night and I am so glad you did, we were able to chit chat/crack jokes. It saddens me that that night ended up being our last night to do so, I feel like we all needed way more time. Monique (Mo) was very special from she was born. I watched Monique grow from a child to an outstanding adult. Monique was gorgeous, affectionate, & respectful. A sweet niece with a huge heart. Her beautiful teeth and her million dollar smile would draw one close to her. Mo was hardworking, loving, caring, and really sensitive to one's needs. Mo and I shared so many memories, whether it was us going to church, hanging out with her other siblings; Me accompanying her and Darnell while they ran around working as ship agents for their darling father Tom; Dining, hanging out with friends, helping out in the kitchen, shopping for shoes, makeup, planning her big 30 birthday party or just having fun. I spent many birthdays with Monique and she was always full of surprises. Sometimes she had me in tears, when I read the birthday cards she gave to me. Monique loved with all of her heart and I always hoped and prayed that she would get the very best in returned. I enjoyed being a part of Mo's life, because sister Doe was always a part of my life. In many ways Monique reminds me of her mom.I will always cherish all of the wonderful memories I had with Monique Hanna-Browdy,... May she rest in peace. Love her in my heart always..

Monique was born a star that was taken away too soon, so suddenly, at the prime of her life. It is so hard to accept that she's no longer with us; the grief, the pain can be unbearable but you look to God because he's the only one who can comfort us, and all that is left now are the memories. Monique and my daughter started Miramar High School together, which was where we met while waiting with my daughter for registration; We exchanged phone numbers and I asked that her and my daughter stayed in contact with each other. They have been friends since, though they never had any classes together. I often reminded her and my daughter and made it known to others that I picked them to be friends. Whenever I saw Monique or communicated with her, she referred to me as mom and sis to my daughter. Monique was one of the sweetest and humblest person I've ever met, she was always smiling. I loved her as though she was my own child. She had been a part of my family and my daughter's life ever since they met and had been to all our family events; it is hard to accept that she's no longer with us physically. She touched my life in so many ways, I admired her, I loved and adored her and will miss her dearly. The world missed Monique cause she made such a huge difference, during her short stay; She was loved, adored and admired by many. Monique is now an Angel and will never be forgotten, Rest In Peace Monique.My condolences to her family and friends, you are in my thoughts and prayers!

For the little time I've known her she has always had such a joyful spirit, kind, with a beautiful smile. It touched my heart tremendously to hear that her and her unborn life was taken away. I can remember over the years meeting her through my friends out dancing and having a ball with her. Over the years seeing her recently, brought on many memories how we all grown older and matured. I met Monique in the summer of 2005. We became quick friends. I felt like I knew her all my life. On my 25th birthday she took me down to South Beach bought me an ice cream cake and shot pool with me even though she was no good at it. I will never forget how funny it was watching her try. Memories I will treasure forever. I love you Mo. May memory of your smile and your kind heart live with us from now to eternity.

Momo was a good spirited person, she was fun and loving. I hadn't seen her in a long while and was saddened to learn of her death. When ever I went to the house she always said to me " I want to go with you", She was very special and blessed; she was my lil coz.

Monique was a good friend and someone to talk too. I am going to miss her beautiful smile. She was very out going and energetic. I just can't believe she is gone so soon. I met Monique when after some time being in my gym class she came up to me and said some very encouraging words. That day I said to myself "I hope that what I say to my members in my class inspires them the way This young lady inspired me!" After that day, I noticed how committed she was not only in her fitness, but her life and at that time the goals she was trying to meet. Before long, she was among the many I called friend. It's been hard to heal the wound I have in my heart for our loss but I cling to the promise that God will soon raise her- for God is a God if the living- not the dead. (Luke 20:38). Her and her baby's death was painful but please family and friends, feel comfort knowing that God has her in his memory and soon she will be awaken by him (John 6:39,40,44). So as we grieve, grieve with this hope and not despair.

It's amazing how Monique was such a good friend to sooo many people. She exuded love. I'm blessed to have had Monique as a friend. I'm so sad that she's gone. She would have been a wonderful mother to her child. I was so excited for her. Monique, I will always love you. I will never forget the wonderful times we shared. Thanks for being that friend I could always count on - from high school to college to present. You never let me down. Definitely one of the sweetest people I've ever known. I still can't believe you're gone. â™¥ RIP

Where do I even begin? I know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I know that all things work together for the good of those that love the Lord.
