

Nancy Jean (Bacen) Molledo, 88, of Hollywood City, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2026. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and cherished friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her.
Nancy was born on February 24, 1938, in Roselle, New Jersey, to Frank J. Sr. and Mary Ann Bacen. She attended Abraham Clark High School in Roselle before her family relocated to Hollywood, Florida, where she graduated from South Broward High School in 1956. Shortly thereafter, she met the love of her life, Ramon Molledo. The two were married on February 15, 1958, at Little Flower Catholic Church, beginning a beautiful partnership that would span 68 years.
Nancy enjoyed a long and accomplished career in the travel industry, a profession that perfectly matched her adventurous spirit and love of exploring the world with her family. Beyond her career, Nancy found joy in life’s simple and meaningful pleasures. She was an avid gardener who took pride in creating beauty around her home, a lover of poetry, and deeply passionate about tracing and preserving her family’s ancestry and roots. She was actively involved in the South Broward High School Reunion Committee, the Hollywood Women’s Club, and numerous travel associations, forming lasting friendships and making a positive impact throughout her community.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Ann Bacen; her brother, Frank Bacen; and her sister-in-law and best friend, Mariann.
She is survived and will be deeply missed by her beloved husband, Ramon Molledo; her children, Francisco Molledo and wife Magdalena, and Maria Tuso and husband Lawrence; her six grandchildren, Saramaria, Ramon (“Mony”), Maximillian, Bianca, Ana, and Francisco; her ten great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and dear friends whose lives she enriched with her love and generosity.
A Catholic Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Little Flower Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Fred Hunter’s Hollywood Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends for a private viewing at Fred Hunter Funeral Home on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m.
