My brother was more than a human being…
He was a role model to me.
When I had no one to talk to, he was there.
He was the one who understood me the most.
He has walked in my shoes.
He taught me that life wasn’t just flowers and colors and I’m thankful for that. I’ll always remember that he wanted the best for me. He would push me so I would become the best person I could be.
This is going to be one of the most important years of my life and he won’t be here to see it. I was ready to have the best coach I ever had in my life. He stood up for me while everyone else stood silent.
I scored a goal and the ref unfairly took it away from me and the only person who said something about it was him. He gave me advice on how to be a better player.
I saw him getting his diploma from the principal and stepping into college. I wish he could see me do the same.
Every Heat and Dolphins game I went to he was there with me. The first time I ate Chick-fil-A, he was there with me. He bought tickets to my first ever Miami Dolphins game. Even though the Dolphins lost I will still remember that day because he was there. When LeBron gave us the 2 rings he was there with me celebrating. To me, the games, the chicken and the championship weren’t important; what was important that he was there with me. If it weren’t for my brother I wouldn’t even be enjoying the NBA.
I just hope God takes good care of him and I’m hoping he has a good afterlife. And I promised myself that I’m gonna get rid of the belly. I tried to multiple times, but this time I’m gonna do it right.
