Orville was born in Kingston, Jamaica on June 15, 1951, the son of Herman and Gwendolyn Cameron. Raised and educated in Jamaica, Mr. Cameron migrated to the United States (Dade County) in the early 1970's.
At the time of his death, Orville was a self-made man who owned and operated his own business that focused primarily on his passion for Firearms Training. He enjoyed collecting and working on cars as well as riding his motorcycle. If success can be measured in happiness then Orville Cameron was a very successful man who enjoyed life to the fullest and lived it surrounded with the love of his family and friends. He would never sweat the little things and was the grounding force of positivity for his family.
He is survived by his loving mother, Gwendolyn Cameron, beloved wife Brigida (Sanchez) Cameron, sister, Carol (Cameron) Newton, son, Timothy Wright, nieces, Maleka Barclay, Roberta Betty, Petra Newton, five grand-nieces and his in-laws, Germania Garcia, Carlos Garcia, Edward Garcia and Jennifer Garcia along with a host of family and friends.
A Celebration of Orville's Life will be held on Monday, January 2nd from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
