Patricia Ferri Schneider, 69, a 10-year resident of Fort Lauderdale, formerly from Long Island, NY, passed away on April, 14, 2010. Loving wife to Richard F. Schneider, and nurturing mother to 6 children:
Michael (Donna); Scott; Cynthia (Dave) Franchak; Kevin (Karen); Bill (Janine); Kat (Dave) Fotheringham, and 16 grandchildren. She is survived by her sister, Cynthia Baker, and 2 brothers: James and Robert Ferri. Predeceased by Winifred and Nicholas Ferri. She attended both Immaculata College and St. John's University. She had a love of life, family and friends; her passions for cooking, genealogy, reading, research, the beach and her laughter will live on in our memories forever.
Visitation at Fred Hunters Downtown Ft. Lauderdale Home, 718 S. Federal Hwy, 5-7pm Saturday, April 17th, and 2-5pm Sunday, April 18th. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Monday, April 19th at St. Sebastian's Roman Catholic Church, 2000 Marietta Dr. (at SE 25th Ave) Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33316 Entombment to follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation (www.tnbcfoundation.org), in her memory.
