Patricia T. Smith, 83, died Friday, January 29, 2010, in Tallahassee, FL. Patricia was born in Greenville, SC and moved to Miami in 1959. She lived there until 1999. She then moved to Davie, FL until 2004. In 2004 she moved to Tallahassee. She was retired from the Dade County School board, where she worked for approx. 30 yrs. Patricia was active in bowling and many other sports throughout her life. Patricia's husband, Eugene D. Smith and daughter, Monica E. Barnwell preceded her in death. Mrs. Smith is survived by a daughter, Frances Franetic of Gainesville, GA, and four sons; Eugene D. Smith of Agawam, MA, Robert W. Smith and James A. Smith of Tallahassee, FL., Richard O. Smith of Davie, FL., two brothers, A. Rellis Turner of Boca Raton, FL and Daniel R. Turner of Lake City, FL, 9 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
