He was born to the late Clarence Simmons and Inez McKenzie on November 9, 1968 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Phillip was an Anesthesia Technician at Memorial Hospital West where he helped many people throughout his career. He is survived by his wife Kimberly, step-son Tegan, sons Nahji and Shaheed, and sister Joan Campbell and family.
