Pio Victor was born in Pullo, Ayacucho, Peru on August 26, 1930 to parents Fortunato and Florencia. He was the 3rd of 7 children. At Pio’s very early age his mother Florencia passed away.
His father took him to Lima, the capital of Peru, and there Pio put himself in school attending Hipolito Unanue High School. While in school, he began working at the first newspaper of Peru, El Comercio. Pio worked there for over 20 years and he would later work for a German Company called Pacific Press, as a Graphico. In 1983 he arrived in Florida and he would go on to work at Motorola, assembling radios, for 14 years. He retired at the age of 68.
On the 24th of June in 1956, Pio Victor and Enedina Carrasco were married in Lima, Peru. They were true childhood sweethearts, having known each other their entire lives. They had 4 children: Ivan, Marisela, Maritza, and Carla, who were given all their love. Pio was proud of the family he made, proud of his wonderful wife and of their good, respectful, and loving children.
If Pio could catch a star to make our dreams come true he would do it. Pio was always there for his siblings, he loved life, dancing, music, playing guitar & kena. He also often captured the true beauty of nature with his camera.
