

Presley Enrique Acuña was born in Milagro, Ecuador, to Tomas Acuña and Carmen Gomero on November 2nd, 1930. His parents passed away when he was very young and he was raised by his uncle, Felix Acuña. He married Mary Zambrano on January 12, 1957, in New York City.
In 1970 Presley and Mary acquired Hobbyland, the neighborhood toy store in Washington Heights, New York. In 1988 they sold Hobbyland and moved to Hollywood, Florida to help their daughter, Fabiola, raise her children, and opened Paint Decor, an interior design company. After retiring, Mary and Presley devoted their lives to their grandchildren, Erik and Gabriella, and to spending time with their family and friends.
Presley is preceded in death by Mary Acuña.
Presley is survived by Presley E. Acuña Jr. and Kimberly Maier, Fabiola Rodriguez and Jesus Rodriguez. His grandchildren, Erik Rodriguez /Yasmin Espinoza, Katerina Acuna, Gabriella Castaneda/Andres Castaneda and Emily Acuña.
His great grandchildren, Giovanni Rodriguez and Enzo Castaneda.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 20th, 2026, at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home.
